The database applications typically use MS SQL or MS Access as the database manager.

Packaged software products have low cost, but may require adaptation of business processes. Maximum competitive advantage is obtained from business processes that are designed for the aims of the business in mind rather than the requirements of an off the shelf computer program. However, software that is specifically built to support such processes can be difficult to specify and expensive to build.

The aim of the company is to supply software best suited to individual clients at the minimum cost by:

• Providing a prototyping service to help the client specify his requirements
• Using the Microsoft DotNet frame to ensure reliable software is built in the shortest time
• Ensuring the bespoke software can work with packaged software as much as possible
• By developing packaged software that can be used in it’s own right or to act as a base for more specialist applications.
